A U.S. citizen born in Panama and a University of Miami graduate (Finance & Marketing), Juan Jose brings 25+ years in retail, real estate, and capital markets. He is President of SM Holdings and a board director at Empresas Arrocha, Global Bank Corporation, Minimed Corp, and SURF. Since 2023 he has served as an independent U.S. consultant to Wild Eggs and other multi-unit operators, and has helped develop more than 10 commercial centers.
Founder and Managing Principal of Axis Point Financial, Carlos is a strategic finance executive with 20+ years across investment banking, private equity, and senior banking. He previously served as CFO & MD of Capital Markets at a U.S. regional bank and CFO of Panama's second-largest bank, where he oversaw a US$1.8B acquisition. Bilingual and San Antonio–based, with an MBA from UNC Chapel Hill and a B.S. in Finance from Villanova.
A seasoned hospitality operator with 20+ years running full-service and multi-unit restaurants across Texas. Rafael is currently General Manager at Pinthouse Pizza Pub, and previously served as Multi-Unit GM at La Fogata / Si Lo Elevated Cuisine, Executive Kitchen Manager at Lupe Tortilla, and General Manager at Chili's and Taco Cabana — with deep expertise in operations, training, cost control, and guest experience.
